Fewer, better clues
Give With Less Guesswork
For someone who values space and intention, a gift can be useful, consumable, experiential, or simply chosen with their preferences in mind.
Understand what “less” means to them
Minimalism is not one universal look or rule. One person might love a clear desk; another may keep a small collection of favourite objects. Listen for what they avoid, what they keep, and what they consider worth making room for.
Good possibilities include replacing something worn with a version they have already chosen, a consumable they genuinely enjoy, a repair or service that saves time, or an experience they have mentioned. If you are not sure whether an object fits, asking is often more thoughtful than surprising them.
Let the recipient set the boundaries
Keep packaging modest, include a gift receipt where appropriate, and avoid presenting a practical present as a lesson in living simply. A warm note explaining why it reminded you of them gives the choice its personal meaning.
